‘ Striving to help your littles bloom into all that they can be
Thank you for stopping by! We are a neuro-diversity affirming, family-centered practice serving families via in-home, teletherapy, and hybrid service delivery models. Currently, in-home services are available for families across much of Connecticut and teletherapy services are available for families in Connecticut and Florida. We continue to expand our teletherapy regions! We are built around you and your littles, and our mission to make learning fun, to support you in your own learning, and most importantly, to help our littles to bloom into all they can be!
More about our services.
WHAT FAMILY-CENTERED CARE MEANS TO US:
Being family-centered is at the very core of our practice. We believe that you, as a caregiver, are an integral part of our team. Our mission at A to B Speech Therapy is to provide evidence-based therapy while teaching you how to support your littles in day-to-day life; we believe that it is taking small steps consistently that ultimately leads to traveling the greatest distance. This is why we incorporate routine-based therapy and play-based therapy into our treatment plans to make learning fun and teach you how to take strategies and techniques that we use in therapy and transfer them to your day-to-day life in the activities that your child is already doing (think play time, routines etc.).
HOW DO WE ACHEIVE THIS?
1.Family involvement is built into our service delivery model, as therapy sessions include a 10 minute consult/debrief after sessions because we want you to know that we are here to support you and hear your concerns. Your collaboration is such a huge factor in promoting the most success for your littles. 2.All of our treatment protocols include a complimentary 90-day review meeting. This is a meeting that we offer (for free) every 90 days. We talk through how things are going, look at therapy data and progress, and talk about any adjustments that we want to make moving forward.
Three convenient ways that we serve you:
In-Home or School Therapy:
We come to your home or your little’s daycare to provide services conveniently!
Telehealth Services:
This means that we provide services virtually through live video chat. Learn more!
Hybrid Therapy Model:
This means that our treatment plan consists of a combination of in-person and virtual sessions.
