‘ Striving to help your littles bloom into all that they can be
Thank you for stopping by! We are a neuro-diversity affirming, family-centered speech and language therapy practice servicing families via in-home, teletherapy, and hybrid speech therapy delivery models. Our speech therapy practice is based out of Watertown, CT and in-home speech therapy is available for families across much of Connecticut. Virtual speech services are available for families in Connecticut, South Dakota, and Florida (see the bottom of this page for a list of service locations). We are built around you and your littles, and our mission is to make learning fun, to support you in your own learning, and most importantly, to help your littles to bloom into all they can be!
More about our services.
WHAT FAMILY-CENTERED CARE Speech Therapy MEANS TO US:
Being family-centered is at the very core of our practice. We believe that you, as a caregiver, are an integral part of our team. Our mission at A to B Speech Therapy is to provide evidence-based speech therapy while teaching you how to support your littles in day-to-day life; we believe that it is taking small steps consistently that ultimately leads to traveling the greatest distance. This is why we incorporate routine-based therapy and play-based therapy into our treatment plans to make learning fun and teach you how to take strategies and techniques that we use in therapy and transfer them to your day-to-day life in the activities that your child is already doing (think play time, routines etc.).
HOW DO WE ACHEIVE THIS?
1.Family involvement is built into our service delivery model, as speech therapy sessions include time for discussion because we want you to know that we are here to support you and hear your concerns. Your collaboration is such a huge factor in promoting the most success for your littles. 2.We include a complimentary 90-day review meeting that occurs regularly. During this time, we will talk through how things are going, look at therapy data and progress, and talk about any adjustments to that we want to make moving forward.
Three convenient ways that we serve you:
In-Home or School Speech Therapy:
This means that we will come to your home or your little’s daycare to provide speech therapy services conveniently!
Virtual Speech Therapy Services:
This means that we provide speech therapy services virtually through live video chat. Learn more!
Hybrid Speech Therapy Model:
This means that our treatment plan consists of a combination of in-person and virtual speech therapy sessions.
